Oh this reminds me of the camera thing we did on SMDF a couple of years ago - someone posted clues to the location of the camera and then whoever found it had to take a piccy and then hide the camera again and post clues. Last we saw it ended up in Geoff's during the "Bats Tour of Waterford" - I recall someone threw it up on that ledge where they have those rattan/corn type wall hangings.

Ha - wonder if anyone found it and had the film developed.

You should send the pig over to England - I could take him up Snowdon as my mascot.

Thank you folks. It was an absolutely amazing weekend - fantastic to meet up with some old friends, hard going on the mountain in a few places, but we all finished the climb with a huge sense of achievement and a shed load of money raised for charity.

piggy arrived yesterday but i only realised he was here this morning

he's pretty tired so he's just chilling today.. this is what he's been up to so far in Kingston Upon Thames, South West Greater London... or Surrey.. whatever you like

its raining... so piggy decides to stay in today

he examines my young persons railcard... he concludes that if he is to go to central london he will need one.. thus making travel cheaper.. i explain its not worth his while really

he decides to plan his trip around london during the week

he soon becomes bored and toddles off to have a mix

he enjoys the phat beats of drum and bass

he is also very impressed by the iphone

piggy probably wont make it into central for a week or so but he'll make it down to the thames in a few days

Anyway, piggy has arrived, has to be the quickest I've ever received something in the post from Waterford.

I'm pleased to say the cat's have given him a wide berth so far.

I'm gonna take him one my training run tonight and then give him a goold old clean later on.

I'm not sure he will make it up the Orme next weekend, depends on the weather but people are dropping out of the walk at the rate of most of them in one day! No matter, he will have a great session in Wales anyway, and I'll see if I can manage to get a photo of him with a singer or two.

So Piggy did his first training run with me.

Piggy knows the importance of warm up stretches

And Piggy had a good stopwatch to time himself.

Unfortunately it was too dark to take any photos of the actual run, but I would just say, that after a few initial problems co-ordinating all of those feet of his, he was away and off and gave me a good run for my money.

Right I dunno what you lot have done to Piggy since his last visit over here, but he's done nothing but play the elusive rock pig all weekend. Refused to come out of his resting place until abou 2 am this morning when he finally gave in and let us take a photo of him at the aftershow party.

(Yes I got so pissed on Friday afternoon/night that I forgot to take him to the gig, and we never got to climb the Great Orme in the end - but a great weekend was had by all).

He should be in the middle of the Irish Sea being thrown about by the rough seas as I type and will be handed over to John Bomb at AOL tomorrow.

Erm - I'm very, very sorry to say that Piggie has gone AWOL in Venice. When I say AWOL what I really mean is that I left the pocket of my back pack open and everything fell out. I only realised that Piggie had been in there and hadn't been retrieved later on.

I am devastated.

Should we lay the memory of Piggie to rest, or continue the travels with Piggie Mark 2. Sounds a bit papal that doesn't it. We could have a fire and burn something to make different coloured smoke depending on whether we install Piggie 2 or not.

Do people know the full story of where Piggie came from?

I think he was originally born in the Early Learning Centre... Then in CTI last year he was bought along with his mom and a rake load of other farm animals by a guy in my class, Darragh. He then became part of Darragh's artwork... At the end of the year Darragh was throwing out everything and I rescued all the animals and put them in my bag.... That Saturday I was chatting to Rory in the forum and I was looking for something in my bag and I pulled out one of the animals.... and then after a bit of explaining Rory took custody of all the animals... I'm not sure how Tara ended up with Piggie specifically but she got the ball rolling...
